Petr Cech has stepped up training at Chelsea.Cech, who has missed six games with an ankle injury, should play against Middlesbrough if he comes through the rest of the week's training sessions unscathed.
Chelsea No.2 Carlo Cudicini has been doing a reasonable job in his absence but Avram Grant's side have missed Cech's dominance in the penalty area and particularly at claiming crosses.
