Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson is ready to outbid West Ham for unsettled Chelsea midfielder Steve Sidwell.
Sidwell was expected to move to Upton Park at the end of the season for £5 million. However, Eriksson is prepared to offer £6 million to take the midfielder north.
