Scolari hints at Chelsea move

Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has left the door open to a move to Chelsea.
At his Press conference yesterday, Scolari made an opening statement and said he was anticipating 'a certain question'.
As soon as he was asked if he was interested in the Chelsea job, the man who led Brazil to World Cup glory in 2002 snapped.
He said: "That is the question I wanted to answer at the end. I'm here as the Portugal squad coach and I'm going to work hard for them until the end of the Euro championship.
"What's going to happen to me after, I'm not going to talk about.
"If I decide to leave the squad or stay, I'm only going to make a public declaration at the end of the tournament."
Scolari's contract runs to the end of July and the Portuguese are convinced he will then end his five-and-a-half year reign.
He added: "I might sign again or I might leave. "
"It's a situation I'm going to examine closely and regardless of what happens I'm not going to answer this sort of question, I'm going to remain quiet.
"Ronaldo will say the same about his future. For now, my life goes around Euro 2008. After that, my life will go on."

Bayern Munich insist Chelsea, Arsenal target Ribery not for sale

Bayern Munich have warned Chelsea and Arsenal off star winger Franck Ribery.
Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said: "We could have sold Ribery twice by now. We have had requests from the Premier League and Spain but I would rather sell our most precious silverware than him.
"We will not listen to any offer. I have a good relationship with most clubs throughout Europe and if they come to me, the answer will be no way. Not for any fee."

Chelea join race for Porto's Quaresma

Chelsea have reportedly entered the race to sign Porto winger Ricardo Quaresma.
Reports emanating from Portugal claim Chelsea are ready to table a bid for the skilful wide-man.
The 24-year-old is thought to be considering his future at Porto and could be interested in a move away to a top club.
Porto are facing a fight to keep hold of their star players following their expulsion from next season's UEFA Champions League.
Porto president Jorge Pinto da Costa has warned any interested club that it will take a bid of £24million to buy the Portuguese international.
"Those who are interested must pay his £30 million buy-out clause," said da Costa.

The Premier League runners-up are expected to put up a fierce fight to keep their big names.
But Mourinho wants Essien to be his midfield enforcer at the San Siro while the Ghana star would love to be reunited with his old boss.

Chelsea, Man Utd tracking Man City prospect Sturridge

Manchester City face a battle to hold onto young striker Danny Sturridge, with Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool following him.
The 18-year-old striker's current three-year deal runs out at the end of next season but, because of the turmoil behind the scenes at Eastlands, he has yet to be made a new offer. England youth star Sturridge is the only player to have scored in the Premier League, FA Cup and FA Youth Cup in one season.
