Chelsea's Sahar moves to Portsmouth

Portsmouth have completed the signing of Chelsea striker Ben Sahar on a six-month loan.
The 18-year-old, who joined Chelsea from Hapoel Tel Aviv two years ago, spent spells on loan at Queens Park Rangers and Sheffield Wednesday last season.
"I've always wanted to be part of a Premier League team and I'm happy to be at Portsmouth," said Sahar.

Chelsea willing to pay £85M for Liverpool's Torres

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is prepared to pay a mind-boggling £85 MILLION for Liverpool star Fernando Torres.
Chelsea's billionaire owner was an admiring onlooker here on Sunday night as the brilliant Liverpool striker dominated Spain's European Championship victory over Germany.
Torres was man of the match in every way and how Chelsea would love to prise him away from Anfield.
Their first reported offer of £50m was laughed away by Liverpool and Torres has admitted he has no wish to quit Merseyside.
However, if Liverpool hint at any weakness, Abramovich would be ready to pay more than Real Madrid's planned £70 million bid for Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo.
A weekly salary of more than £200,000 a week is not out of the question as Abramovich is determined to bankroll his club into European winners.

Chelsea rattle Barcelona over Arshavin bid

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is threatening Barcelona hopes over a deal for Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Andrei Arshavin.
Barca had hoped to settle on a £12 million fee with Zenit this week for Russia international Arshavin. But the deal has broken down after Abramovich made late contact.

Inter Milan coach Mourinho gives up on Chelsea's Lampard

Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho has cast doubt on plans to land Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard.
"This season? I don't think so," said the Special One. "Why won't he? Well, it's not because we don't want him to, but I'm sure Chelsea and Chelsea's officials don't want to sell him.
"However for the next season it will be easier for him to join me at Inter.
"I'm 100 per cent sure in 2009/2010 he will be playing here."

Deco on cool £92,000-a-week at Chelsea

Deco is on a bumper deal at new club Chelsea.
Portugal midfielder Deco met Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon to sign a two-year contract worth £92,000-a-week.
He had a medical in London before becoming the first signing of Luiz Felipe Scolari's Chelsea revolution.

Chelsea's Lampard coy over Inter Milan reports

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard is refusing to discuss publicly a proposed move to Inter Milan.
"Inter? Let's wait and see," he said when questioned about a proposed move. "For the moment I am here on holiday with my family, my future at Chelsea? I don't know anything yet.
"Italy is a beautiful country but I am not due to meet anyone here."
